Hi everyone,
Does anybody have any pointers or ideas regarding how they use Bluetooth headphones on their machines running Trisquel? I have a few concerns:
1) I've heard about dangers of Bluetooth headphones being used to spy or hack into machines.
2) people in the GNU/Trisquel community are passionate about their software, firmware, and hardware being completely libre. Does using bluetooth headphones bring us farther away from this goal? Or am I off base and Bluetooth is not related to these ideas at all?; Is it like just a radio wave and not even software per say?
Despite these concerns (whether warranted or not, I'm not a programmer so I might not be understanding everything), the Trisquel OS does indeed have an option to enable Bluetooth..... and bluetooth headphones would offer me alot of convenience.
What is your guys' take on this?
Do you guys use bluetooth headphones with your Trisquel operating systems?
Do you feel it clashes with the ideal of being fully libre?
Is it the case that there are ways to utilize it in a fully libre manner and ways to utilize it in a non-libre manner?
I'm interested in your thoughts and suggestions!! :-D
