Hello,
I am editing the wiki https://trisquel.info/en/wiki for some time.
I saw there were some drastic changes on the wiki in the past months.
For example:

https://trisquel.info/en/node/1648/revisions/48125/view turned into https://trisquel.info/en/wiki/system-requirements - here some content is missing now.

Another example:
[https://trisquel.info/en/wiki/installation-guide Installation Guide] (alternative index) - is now missing on https://trisquel.info/en/wiki/all-manuals

I also like to edit the wiki but I would feel bad if I delete other peoples work, if the content is correct. Otherwise correcting the content is a much better option, I think.

I would tend to discuss such drastic changes on the forum, especially if deleting content, and like to encourage these editors to do so, too.

regards, knife

Hi Cuchillo, I was the one who removed the installation guide. It's still available in the Spanish documentation, but in Spanish. If you'd like it so much, I'll simply translate it for you. Also, that installation guide is now where it should be at the link https://trisquel.info/en/wiki/setup.

It's about time we updated the Trisquel website, since HTML4 has nothing to do with HTML5.

There happens to be a manual page for manuals, with a notice board that says "Feel free to leave messages here for fellow contributors":

https://trisquel.info/en/wiki/manuals

Another way to coordinate while editing is to leave comments on the edited page itself. They will be visible to any other user editing the same page without cluttering the rendered contents.

I saw that page before but I can't remember how I got there. Where is the link to it?

How about adding a link to that page from https://trisquel.info/en/wiki/documentation, like "Contributing to Trisquel documentation"?

The link is currently to be found in the "All Manuals" page, chapter XII "Contributors", under "Writers and translators":

https://trisquel.info/en/wiki/all-manuals

One may argue it is indeed a bit hidden down that long table of contents.

Yes, the chapter "Contributors", is something that needs some work.
