Installing Enlightenment
What is Enlightenment?
Enlightenment, also known simply as E, is a lightweight and highly configurable window manager for X11 and Wayland. One of its goals is to become a complete desktop environment.
Enlightenment is based on the Enlightenment Foundation Libraries (EFL), written in C. There are applications, that use EFL available in the Trisquel repository:
- Ephoto (a comprehensive Image Viewer)
- Terminology (an EFL based terminal emulator)
These and other apps together with development tools can be found on https://www.enlightenment.org/download, the place of Enlightenment releases.
Trisquel Aramo comes with Enlightenment 0.25.3-1.
Installation
$ sudo apt install enlightenment
