There is a small artwork of 'Thunderbird' on bottom right corner of Icedove Mail's Homepage. It can only be viewed if you view the screen at a particular angle. (The approximate area is shown with mouse pointer in attached screenshot.)

Don't know if this has anything to do with branding.

Marking the status as active for now; Kindly flip it to fixed if I am wrong.
