Description

OK, I'll try to be less cranky, but I tried updating Trisquel and it won't boot, and I may just have to start over from scratch. I doubt, if that's the case, that I'll do an update ever again and lose another day of my time, unless someone either fixes the update process or tells me how to fix it. I think I remember using Emacs way back in the 1980s - and I'm wondering if I had it on my timesharing account - that would be 1978 to 1981 - started out using QED. I remember when C first came out, my copy of K&R dates from then. PhD physical/organic/computational chemistry, 1987, postdocs 1987-1992, law school 1997-2000, admitted to Kansas and Patent Bars 2002 after doing a year on an LLM. Emacs and free software and freedom itself - I'm big on those. Not so much social media like facebook, twitter, etc...
