Icecat not Connecting

Hi,
Icecat is not connecting to anything.
Any URL I put in, or text to search, the browser tab just says 'connecting' for the whole time the browser is open.
I have updated my system, re-installed icecat, but nothing has worked.
Abrowser runs fine, though. Any ideas?
Your help is appreciated.

Figured it out!
It was a proxy issue.

Would anyone mind telling me how to delete posts?
This is a waste of space now and I would like to delete it.
